Mickey's Visit

We had a great time with Mickey and his lady friend Kacee. We tried to go to Edgar Allen Poe's house but it was being renovated or fixed-up or something. Of the three times I have gone there it has only been open once. Anyhow...we went to his grave instead.

And we went for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory in the inner harbor. It was Mickey's pick after I told him a body had once washed up in front of it. That is just who he is. Gotta love him. Also, I had a navajo taco (called The Navajo) that was NOT a navajo taco but it was still pretty tasty. We sat on the patio and keep our eyes open for bodies.

In front of the USS Constellation...we got cheesecake to go!

We played this board game A LOT. It is something like "settlers of catan". It was big fun.

And...we even got the chins out to play.

The Menace at Work!

We used to keep our "instruments" (Guitar Hero!) on top of the Ikea closet until we caught on to the fact that The Menace was getting on top of the Ikea closet to mess with the blinds. We moved our instruments and put a small box towards the edge of the top of the Ikea closet to stop her from getting to the blinds. Yeah, it didn't work. We had to get more creative. She no longer can get to the blinds but still gets up there to lounge!

The first time Tito caught her up there we couldn't imagine how she was even doing it...but she jumps to the top of the chin cage and then up to the top of the Ikea closet. No problem. To get down she jumps to the bed. What a menace to the castle!

Playing Hooky.....not really!

Myself and three of my colleagues...Drs. Weerts, Duke, and Davis decided to play hooky yesterday and attend a 12:30pm Orioles game. I took a lot of shit for telling the boss what we were doing...I thought she might wonder where the hell I went...but as it turns out...none of us are very good at playing hooky because we were in every 9th or 10th camera shot!@! Fucking hilarious!!!! Tito tivo'd the game and so I started fast-forwarding through it to show him the highlights...Luke Scott hit a grand slam AND the game ended on an out thrown from left field to our beloved new catcher Matt Weiters at home plate when Seattle's tying run was on 3rd base!!! It was very exciting...but as I was fast-forwarding I noticed we were in the camera shot of the pitcher!!! So much for leaving work on the sly!

I am wearing a bright orange shirt...of course!

Ok, we aren't in this shot but he hit a fucking GRAND SLAM! Wahoo! It was exciting.

Opening Day 2010

Opening day was way back in April....but it was a great time...except the O's lost...but that is pretty much to be expected. There was lots of excitement from all the fans at the sold out game. It was big fun!
