Butterflies

The kitties caught sight of a butterfly through their window onto the world...

If I can just get high enough....

...I can fall and require expensive medical attention!

Fuck it! Just let me outside!

Crazy pupil-less kitty...

Birthday Trip to The Barnes Foundation

For my birthday Tito and I took a trip up to Philly and The Barnes Foundation...which has an absoluately amazing collection of art that includes works by Picasso, Matisse, Renoir, Cézanne, Van Gogh, and Monet...just to name a few. The pieces were all arranged by Mr. Barnes in original and clever ways and nothing is behind glass or roped off. The estimated worth of all his art is at least 30 BILLION dollars! It is an incredible way to experience art. Too bad the Philly art establishment is getting ready to take control of it all...and put it all into a McArt museum. Sad. We had a GREAT day!

The front entrance to the house Mr. Barnes built for his art...

Tito was impressed with these giant leaves...

A giant or "horse" chesnut...we were warned to watch out and I believe one of these falling from the tree would knock a bitch out.

The grounds were magical!

Summer at the Ballpark

Tito and I and Dr. Duke went to the O vs. Red Sux game last night. Dr. Duke is a Red Sux fan and so we indulge her even though the tickets and parking cost more because it is considered a "premium" game. Whatever that means. What it actually means is: we like to charge more because a lot of people drive here from Boston to see the game. We should get regular prices with a MD ID. Anyhow...there is nothing premium about the Baltimore Orioles. But it was a great time...and a beautiful night.

What happened here?

Tito and I were on our way home and saw the craziest thing...a car on top of tombstones in the Jewish graveyard. So I made Tito drive back over after we went home and got the camera. Then I made him drive by again. Then he wouldn't drive by anymore. I was fascinated.

How did the driver even get the car into that position???

The person standing to the right is a man...not a pregnant woman. Just FYI.
