Happy Friday!

Whew! TGIF!!!! I finally got a paper submitted today that I have been working on for over a year and a half! Yep, about a year and a half ago I sent the first draft around to all the authors (5 of us) and it then took over a year for everyone to come to an agreement on how the data would be presented. I was mostly stuck in the middle of two very stubborn, very head strong, very intelligent women who, frankly, I think just wanted to "win" the arguement over each other. It was quite the power struggle. Let me repeat myself...whew!!!!

Tito and I really want to make a day trip up to the New Jersey Grounds for Sculpture but I think there is a bi-annual trip to Costco in our future tomorrow instead.

We did not win

Just FYI...despite the virtual gurantee by the Shell Gas Station attendant...we did not win the $30 million powerball last night. Just buying the ticket made me miss Aunt Judy...the eternal lottery optimist.

Setting: scrapbook room huddled around the little tv watching the end of the Baltimore O's vs. Boston Red Sucks in Boston. We were watching in the scrapbook room because Tito was watching two other sporting events on the big TV (Stanley Cup play-off Red Wing game and Supercross).


T: We should get Berry Pebbles an O's collar to wear during the baseball season.

A: Then she can wear her Detroit collar during the football season.

T: [After some thought] No, she can't wear an O's collar...she already has self-esteem issues.


Too funny! But in all honesty, Berry Pebbles does have self-esteem issues. Also, the O's won the game!

Earth Day!

We are planting our second attempt at a Red Dogwood tree today...The Big Red Dog and Aunt Judy memorial tree. Happy Earth Day!

Beverage Sadness

OH NO! JHU cafe got rid of the fresh brewed iced tea! I can't believe it...I am so sad. And on top of that, my back-up, the Cherry Coke, got replaced with gross Nestea from syrup. Boo on JHU.
