Wave Goodbye!

Tito and I donated the Rodeo to the MD SPCA this morning. We were sad to see it go....I guess mostly I was sad to see it go. I drove back and forth between Michigan and Arizona a few times in that truck....including a road trip home from Arizona with Kanook and Mom with a stop over to see Graceland.....and one year Kanook and I drove from Flagstaff to Kalamazoo (1500 miles) and only spent one night on the road. I drove it from Flagstaff to Redlands to visit Gramma and Judy. Kanook and I took many trips back and forth to Chautauqua from Kalamazoo....and then Tito, Kanook, and I made those trips and drove the Rodeo from Kalamazoo to find a place to live in Baltimore. I filled it with my shit to move from Flagstaff to Kalamazoo, from Kalamazoo to Joppa, and from Joppa to Baltimore. The passenger side window in the back was permenantly crusted with Kanook slobber....she loved to ride with her head out that window. I never shoveled snow from my driveways in Michigan, I would just put the Rodeo in 4-wheel drive and plow on through. It never failed me. The first year we lived in Baltimore (Joppa) they had record snow fall, with a praticulary heavy storm in early February. Tito and I got up early, shoveled the driveway, and plowed the Rodeo through the snow filled cul-de-sac and we both made it to work....only to find we were the only ones who had! Yep....I was sad to see it go....lots of memories were towed away.....well not really because they are still memories in my head but you know what I mean...
Bye Rodeo! It was almost 15 years old and had 94,000 miles. I hope the SPCA gets something decent for it at auction....

Those look just like our goodbye Rodeo pictures, only ours don't have Tito and yours are greener.
