Love in the Time of Football

We are a divided family. We love each other but there is a definite divide. Sometimes I think we are so divided that we won’t be able to meet in the middle…..then I think about the Detroit Lions and laugh at the thought that they might somehow diminish my devotion to Denver. But there is definitely a divide in our family. Berry Pebbles is the namesake of a former Lion player and absolutely loves when we put her Lion jersey on her. She prances around like she is in a fashion show. I was feeling lonely and outnumbered so I began to recruit a free-agent……the shirt doesn’t quite fit but I think she might sign with me!
